What is Bitcoin?

I often compare Bitcoin as digital gold, but its actually better than gold as a way for your money to keep its value. Gold can always get mined faster if the price makes it worth the exploration/exploitation cost, which will cause your gold value to go down with more supplies being available, it is also very hard to spend and not practical at all.

Bitcoin is based on a mathematical equation that cannot be changed or hacked. Millions of private computers (miners and nodes) secure the system and preserve its purpose. It is the most secure network, and the more it grows, the more secure it gets.

We live in a time where your hard earned money looses its value every month because of the inflation caused by our financially unresponsible governments, so in my opinion, the best way of getting your savings out of this mess is by securing some bitcoin as soon as possibe. When the world catches on, you'll be leagues ahead with your stash already built.

Is Bitcoin divisible?

Yes, in one Bitcoin, there is 100 000 000 Satoshi, that is the smaller unit used for daily transactions. You can have one cent worth of bitcoin, no need to buy a full one to start.
